This Paradise Valley based family is searching for a proactive, organized, and energetic nanny/house manager to care for their busy family and home, supporting mom and dad who are managing fast paced and busy careers outside of the home.
The boys are both easy going and thrive in an organized home with a set schedule (within reason). The family encourages learning through exploration, balanced with boundaries and structure. They treat their children with respect, with an understanding that age-appropriate boundaries need to be set. They are looking for a caregiver who can partner with them to provide consistent care, who can remain calm and collected. The ideal candidate will be familiar with “RIE” parenting methods and the ideology behind it, or who will take the time to learn about this in detail to provide the best care for the boys.
The family’s core values are education, respect, organization, love, kindness, and communication and above all else- gratitude.
Mom and dad have highly structured professions, but truly value family time, a laid-back home environment and a supportive and loving environment for their children to grow in. Safety, healthy development, and education are of high importance to the family, and they will be looking for a caregiver to provide those above all else.
Daily duties will be primary care of the children. The oldest is in preschool and mom and dad do handle drop of and pick up for that most of the days, if their schedule allows. The baby is home through the day, and they would love their nanny to be planning engaging, educational activities, and outings for him as time allows in the schedule. Outings to the park, walks, trips to the museum and zoo, etc. will be encouraged once the baby is a bit older. He is on a great schedule, thanks to the help of an outstanding NCS who got him on a solid sleep/wake schedule as a newborn. He is a great napper and thrives on a daily routine.
Additional daily duties around the home will be focused on light house management tasks to keep the home organized, tidy and running smoothly. Completing all children’s laundry as well as assisting with family laundry, upkeep of the kitchen and common areas, general cleanup through the day as well as light meal prep as time allows for the family would be greatly appreciated. Meal prep for the children’s meals through the day will be required.
Special note: The family is raising their boys in a way to ensure they are grateful for what they have and treat everyone with kindness and respect, with an understanding that their home environment is the product of hard work and should not be taken for granted. Everything in their home is centered around family time and thoughtful play with thoughtfully selected toys and no screen time. They truly value family time, outdoor activities, reading and creative activities such as arts and crafts and music.
This family will be wonderful to work for as they truly understand the importance of this position and will strive to treat their nanny with respect, kindness, and appreciation as a valued member of their family team long term as their family potentially grows! Requirements: Professional, Discrete, Responsible, Newborn Experienced, Creative and Energetic.
