Full-Time Nanny for Active Family

Location: Paradise Valley, Arizona
Start Date: UPDATED- APRIL 2025 START
Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 11 AM - 7 PM or 12 PM - 8 PM

About the Family:
They are a busy and active family with four wonderful boys aged 8, 6, 5, and 9 months. They also have two beloved dogs—a Great Dane and a French Bulldog puppy—who are cherished household members.

They prioritize creating a loving and supportive environment for their children and value clear and open communication more than most! Open, honest, and transparent communication is essential to the family and this role, and they need their nanny to be comfortable and feel confident with them to ensure good communication on both sides. Ideally, this relationship will last for several years, and excellent communication is where that will start for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Child-Related Tasks:

o Assist with children’s laundry and maintain tidiness in their rooms and play areas.

Help ensure that all children are packed and ready for school each day.

Engage the boys in fun and educational activities while fostering a positive and nurturing environment.

Household Responsibilities:

§ Assist with organizing various areas of the home as time allows.

Maintain a tidy environment in between housekeeping visits (housekeepers come twice a week).

Support the family in creating an organized and efficient household.

Qualifications:

Experience caring for multiple children in a fast-paced environment.

Must be comfortable working in a home with parents present and in and out of meetings throughout the day.

Must be discrete with friends and family who visit and be willing to sign and maintain a nondisclosure agreement before starting a working relationship with the family.

Travel: A valid passport is needed as the family travels several times a year to their second home for six weeks in the summer and 1-2 weeks additionally throughout the year. Mom and dad travel solo several times yearly, requiring overnights with the children back at home.

Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on honesty and clarity.
A valid driver’s license and a vehicle with clean and clear registration, willingness to be paid via W2 payroll, and must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

They employ positive discipline techniques—timeouts are not used; instead, they focus on working through problems collaboratively and redirecting negative behavior. They want someone who can manage the energy and activity of their four boys without feeling overwhelmed and seamlessly integrate into their family life. The parents are frequently home throughout the day, involved with meetings and activities, and appreciate a nanny who can work alongside them and communicate openly about the children's needs and any household matters.
